Boys
From time to time I'll read a article that tells of the dangers of placing boys and girls in gender specific roles and that categorizing them into groups can limit them and their imagination and success. Despite what "they" say I see the difference everyday in the genders and love to watch their little minds go were nature takes them. Don't get me wrong, I never tell my son "thats for girls" or not allow him to play with a doll (even though he rather not), LOL. Anyhow this past weekend I saw the young male mind at work at the Sausalito Bay Discovery Museum's construction play area. Sure there were a couple of girls in this section (mostly giving orders, no dirty work ha ha) but most girls trotted right on by where the boys, without instruction just dug in......literally.
